Matthew Jackson

Mr. Jackson serves as the 2024 IEEE-HKN TechX Conference Committee Chair and is the Communications Officer for the Atlanta Chapter of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. He is a research engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) where his primary research interests are in the use of signal processing for data analytics, detection, and classification. Mr. Jackson has been a member of HKN since 2014, joining while a student at Arizona State University (ASU). He graduated from ASU with a BSE and MSE in Electrical Engineering in 2016 and 2017 respectively, and is a current PhD student at the Georgia Tech Institute of Technology, publishing work on multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar.
